Governor Gary Johnson, OUR America Initiative, to release ‘Three Point Plan for Economic Prosperity’
-Gary Johnson, former Governor of New Mexico and Honorary Chairman of the OUR America Initiative, said today during his trip through Southern California that a “Three Point Plan for Economic Prosperity” will be unveiled Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 6:00 PM at a special press event in Washington, D.C., at the office of the Reason Magazine, 1747 Connecticut Avenue NW. Go Gary, Go. I am just an average guy in Madison, Wi, a bastion of progressives. Even they are at odds with the proficiency of the Federal Government. The idea of the states keeping more of their own money and being more in charge of their own destiny even appeals to them. Please stay away from social issues, let the states handle those. Those are and should be states issues.
ReplyDeleteIt always seemed to me only logical that the states should be the 50 experimental stations. When a state gets it right, the others will follow. If one state starts a healthcare program that works for the masses and is affordable all the others will run to follow. States by their nature will have an extremely large difference in their social nature. Then I have the right to live where I want. One size does not fit all.
You and Rand Paul In 2016, sorry but you don’t want to be the next president. By 2016 everyone will want to go back to the states. Oh, one other thing. The election in Massachusetts tells two tales, dissatisfaction with healthcare ideas (they don’t like their own) and they hate the congress and are sending a message. People don’t like how congress bargains with our money and the corruption that takes place in the bargaining. The congress is going to change drastically, but some of those new people will be part of the old guard. They will still cause trouble. You should do a pole on term limits right now. I bet most people would tell you now is the time for term limits.
Good luck, I’ll vote for you if you run.
